EXPANSION PROGRAMME OF MOHAN DAI OSWAL CANCER HOSPITAL
Mohan Dai Oswal Cancer Treatment & Research Foundation was established in 1984 as a charitable institution to extend comprehensive quality treatment and care for cancer to the masses at an affordable price.
It is a 325 bedded hospital located on the Amritsar - New Delhi G.T. Road Highway near Sherpur bye-pass, Ludhiana.
Institution approved by the Government of Punjab for Cancer Treatment Upto 10+2 Govt. School Students in the year 2009 and Himachal Government for cancer treatment of government employees of the state.
The management has planned to invest Rs. Nearly 50-60 crores under the chairmanship of
Sh. Abhay K. Oswal in the year 2009-10 to make it a state of art comprehensive cancer care centre and a multispeciality hospital by adding equipments and up gradation of existing hospital complex and add new buildings.
Soon hospital will be updated to 500 beds and will have additional facilities of……
· 80 bedded Cardiac Centre – Sh. Vidya Sagar Oswal Cardiac Unit.
· New Casualty and Trauma wing etc.
· Updating of the present hospital building
· New Ultra Modern OT block ( 6 Operation theatre)
· Addition of 2 High energy Linear Accelerator with IMRT and IGRT facilities
· 1.5 Tesla MRI New
· PET with 16 multislice CT with simulation
· New ICU - Surgical and Medical
· Maternity wings.
· Expansion of College of Nursing
· Nursing hostel block expansion
· Residential block for doctors

n Post basic BSc. Nursing programme - Year 2009
n BSc. Programme in Radiology - Year 2009-10
